GLIBA Annual Meeting

Please join the GLIBA board, staff, your fellow bookstores and industry members for our annual GLIBA membership meeting on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 2PM ET / 1PM CT.

We will discuss the state of our region, events of 2023, plans for the future, the GLIBA annual report, recognition of board members leaving the board, official meeting, new board member vote, Heartland Fall Forum updates. As well, we will be joined by members of the ABA, BINC and Edelweiss Legacy to hear about their latest news.

We will recognize bookstores that have celebrated a milestone anniversary this year. Please use the event registration link ahead of time to let us know if your bookstore has celebrated an anniversary this year. Please join us!
For 2024 the GLIBA Board submits Shay Carroll of of Microcosm Publishing in Cleveland, Ohio.

2024 GLIBA Board Nominee

Shay Carroll
Microcosm Publishing, Cleveland, OH

Shay Carroll earned a BFA in creative writing and linguistics, and has been working their way into the world of publishing ever since. After moving to Cleveland right after college, they worked for the Cleveland Public Library before moving into contract and proposal writing. They now work for Microcosm Publishing in their Cleveland location, where they are responsible for both receiving and data for new titles.
