GLIBA Holiday Catalog
The GLIBA Holiday Catalog Rebate is back! GLIBA will reimburse any GLIBA member bookstore up to $400 that inserted, used saturation or direct mail for this year's GLIBA holiday catalog. Sending the holiday catalog is some of the best and easiest marketing we make available to our stores. Proper documentation must be provided.
As you are all too aware, the last two years have been challenging from a supply chain standpoint. Related to the Holiday Catalog, the costs of paper, printing, and shipping have increased by approximately 35%. In addition, labor and material shortages have significantly impacted our production schedule. At the same time, GLIBA is more committed than ever to providing you with an affordable print and digital holiday marketing program that you can use as a springboard to boost fourth quarter sales.

May 1, 2022 - Deadline to initiate house list/saturation mail for catalogs.
May 15, 2022 - Deadline to order boxes of for your store.
May 15, 2022 - Deadline to order custom imprinting for catalogs.
May 15, 2022 - Deadline to order newspaper insertions for catalogs.
May 15, 2022 - Deadline to finalize house list/saturation mail for catalogs.
August 15, 2022 - First option for catalog delivery to stores and newspapers.
October 1, 2022 - Second option for catalog delivery to stores and newspapers.
October 12, 2022 - House list/saturation mail sent.
May 15, 2022 - Deadline to order boxes of for your store.
May 15, 2022 - Deadline to order custom imprinting for catalogs.
May 15, 2022 - Deadline to order newspaper insertions for catalogs.

Here’s what’s staying the same for 2022:
- As a GLIBA member, you are still eligible for FREE catalogs that include FREE freight.
- The cost to personalize your catalogs with your store logo, a coupon, etc. is still $150.
- You will still be able to order print catalogs to be shipped to your store and/or your local newspaper(s), as well as mailed to your customer mailing list and/or to targeted zip codes and individual addresses in your community through our direct mail program. The price for mailing is staying the same at $.20/piece.
- A digital Holiday Catalog will still be available at no extra charge to send directly to your customers to drive sales online and in-store. E-commerce platforms including IndieCommerce/Light, Handseller, Bookmanager, and Bookshop are supported, or you can request HTML files for your store’s unique needs.
- A resource kit including POP materials, digital assets, and more will still be available to accompany both print and digital catalogs.
- Holiday catalog orders are due May 15 thanks to all of the aforementioned supply chain issues.This is a hard deadline. No late orders will be accepted.
- GLIBA member stores are eligible for 7,000 FREE catalogs. Catalogs over that amount may be ordered for $.11/piece which is what the price has been for several years. Direct-to-store catalogs are still $55/box of 500.
- You will have two options for delivery to your store and/or newspaper(s): August 15 OR October 1. YOU MUST CHOOSE ONLY ONE.
- Direct mail (customer mailing list and/or saturation) will be mailed on October 12.
- Saturation mail orders must be started by May 1 in the online order form. It takes approximately 2 weeks to confirm zip codes and mail carrier routes so you’ll need to get started no later than May 1 to make the May 15 final catalog order deadline. You will have the option of making an appointment to discuss zip codes and carrier routes live before placing a final order.
- When placing your order online, you will be able to easily see your 2021 Holiday Catalog order to review exact quantities, imprint artwork, and more. Hooray!
