Run-of-Show: Author Events
Upon arriving at Spring Forum, a GLIBA board member will greet each author and show them to their seat.
1:00 pm ET The Cookbook Author Feature begins. We will introduce the author with a brief bio and welcome them to present. The Cookbook Author Feature ends at 1:30 pm ET.
1:45 pm ET Meet the Authors Begins. We will introduce each author with a brief bio and begin presentations. The format of this event will be a Round Robin-style panel. Each author will be assigned another panelist (in advance), and will ask their own curated question, which will then prompt the second author's presentation. Each author has up to 8 minutes to present, and we will signal them when they have one minute left. Meet the Authors concludes at 2:45 pm ET.
3:00 pm ET The Keynote Author Event begins. We will introduce each author with a brief bio and then kick off the programming. The Keynote Author Event ends roughly at 3:45 pm ET. If the event goes under or over that is completely fine. This is the last formal event of the day.
4:00 pm ET Author Cocktail Reception begins. Each author will be escorted to a table where they can talk to booksellers and sign books. Authors are welcome to walk around and mingle as well. Author Cocktail Reception ends at 5:30 pm ET.
