GLIBA Rep Night is back this summer in Chicago, featuring a great mix of publisher sales reps presenting titles, a featured author and more! This night will be both fun and informative and give attendees a chance to relax, meet book industry colleagues, and stay informed about new books and authors to feature in the seasons to come. Food and drinks will be provided.
Publisher and Sales Rep applications are closed. We are out of rep spots but there is a waitlist for participating reps. Please watch for an event invitation. If you are not a presenting publisher and would like to attend please register for the event. The more the merrier!

Authors
Jo Salazar grew up in the river bottoms of west central Illinois. Today, she lives in Chicago with her husband, Uli, and their dog, Data. Her fascination with zombies started after she watched Night of the Living Dead at a friend’s house as a little girl, then refused to sleep alone for weeks.

Brenda Iijima is the author of Presence published by Georgia Review Books in 2024. She is also the author of numerous volumes of poetry. She lives in Brooklyn, New York and runs a small poetry press.

A Chicago’s artist haven since 1898, the Fine Arts Building is a home for artists in all forms: painters, musicians, sculptors, yoga studios, puppeteers, therapists, coaches, craftspeople, and more. The building is also home to the Studebaker Theater, a jewel of Chicago theater. Full of historic gems such as original manually-operated elevators and Art Nouveau murals from the late 19th century, the Fine Arts Building is a vibrant hub of creative inspiration and diverse artistic expression. From pioneers like Harriet Monroe, Lorado Taft, and Frank Lloyd Wright, to the ongoing legacy of the Studebaker Theater and the artists that fill our halls today, the Fine Arts Building has been a living hub for artistic and cultural innovation for over a century.
The Fine Arts Building also houses the Studebaker Theater, a stunning showcase for the performing arts. From its origins as a vaudeville house to its time as a cinema complex, through reconstructions and restorations, the Studebaker has been home to Chicago’s premier productions. (read more)
